We started as consultants in management system standards — implementing ISO 9001 and its siblings inside real companies, document by document, audit by audit, so they could reach certification. That’s where we learned what a standard looks like from the inside.

That work grew into a firm: Consultto. More consultants, more industries, more schemes — and the same pattern repeating at every client. The management system lived in folders, spreadsheets and email threads, and nobody could find anything twice.

So we built the Consultto software: a document management platform for management systems. We stopped being a firm that documents for you and became a product where the documentation actually lives, versioned, traceable and findable.
